What about those of us that believe the soul is now released? The soul argument lacks any merit.

unborn babies have souls too!! Shall we just " release all the souls"???" Release the souls of the handicapped? My son is autistic, severely disabled......shouldn't we just " reLEASE" his soul?? This arguement doesn't cut it with me!!

That is the kind of ridiculous statement that I've come to expect when attempting to have any sort of discussion on this case.

No, we shouldn't release all the souls. My point is that the soul was not killed by this act and therefore, the soul argument is not a valid one when discussing Terri.

I'm sorry to hear about your son.

Yes, there are people here who think we should just "release his soul" because he's inconvenient. They justify it wiht "quality of life" arguments, but it's basically for their convenience -- to "upgrade" humanity.

I believe this is known as eugenics.
