My prediction is that everyone not a single person on FR will change their opinion of this Schiavo mess based on whatever they release.
You will either declare a whitewash or vindication depending on what side you are on.
Personally, I think the lady should have been given to her parents care to take care of her since there was no written instructions. But, I do not think she was "conscious" as I would define that. I personally would not want to be kept alive in that state.
Maybe the best thing that can come of this whole fiasco is that all Freepers can make sure that they have valid living wills that clearly spell out there beliefs re: end-of-life decisions.
I wonder if any of those who live in Florida have communicated with their state representatives about changing the laws in Florida that provided the basis for this?
If they haven't, they should do that first, before commenting here.
