You're confusing checkpoints with speed traps! We have tons of them down here. The locals know when and where to expect them, so we never get caught. But we sure do make a lot of money off all those yankee tourists ;)
Nope - I'm talking checkpoints! - Stop every car and ask to see a license and insurance papers (while at the same time looking to ticket over seat belts) - you guys have that whole "click it or ticket" campaign running -
These are not speed traps (which also piss me off) but worse....actual boot-thug style checkpoints (a la the days of Nazi Germany....were Gov't officials stopped you and asked if you had the proper paperwork on you).
