Maybe North Carolina.
They seemed to have died off in SC. Popular about 10 years ago, but I've not seen one in quite a while.
Would agree they happen much more in NC than in SC (but I have come through two in Landrum, SC in the past 7 days).
Simply ridiculous! (Landrum has about as much crime or drunk driving as would be found at a retirement community)
