And since you're being ugly.... my daddy told me there were yankees, and then there damn yankees. Yankess came down here on vacation.. enjoyed our beaches, lakes and rivers, spent money and went home. Damn yankees come down here and stay. Guess we know what you are. ;)

I love that one - Have been told it a few times by some of my "new" Southern friends. And understand I'm not saying Southern people are bad (they are wonderful, good hearted people for the most part) - But they just love their police having power over them - Don't ask me why -

We were Colorado yankees. Now we're "damn Yankees" living in NC. Our Southern friends here are gittin us to talk right. We're learning.
