I am not acquainted with Atheist Canadian Conservative and am a committed Christian myself. I do, however recognize that many people who do not share my religious beliefs can come to a Conservative political position through the sheer logic of it.

As far as morals go, many Atheists hold to a high moral code simply by virtue of recognizing Natural Law. Examples of economic and political conservatives who happen to be atheists include such notables as Ayn Rand. Let's not limit our friendships too quickly on the basis of our personal religious beliefs.
