It is not a racial issue, it is a position issue. Villeraigosa is about as far left as Fidel, he just hides it a bit better in order to win.

I agree with your question; my larger question is why are there so very many racist, prejudice remarks on this website and specifically on this thread. There are a lot of freedom loving people here that sure do not appear to appreciate the fact that US citizens vote for whom they want to represent them. Those few of you that are posting these comments (and that lovely drivers lic.) had better take a look at the talk you talk and the walk you walk.

I lived in Miami when they elected a Cuban mayor. There was no big political change that took place and there won't be any in Los Angeles. You now just have to bribe a new set of office holders. The same rule is in effect.......whoever's in, get's the money......
