Most Americans have been so psycholgically neutered by political correctness that they are afraid to deal with any issue that involves race for fear of being called a racist. This is play #1 from the Marxist playbook of the 1960's. Even Hanoi John Kerry tried to use it against his own country by accusing America of waging a racist war against the Vietnamese people. Fortunately, like the boy that cried wolf or the football team that ran this play week in and week out, this play does not work very well anymore, except in the mind of guilty white liberals who think that in order to prove that they are not racist, that they must hand their country over to Mexico.
It's a malaise.
Collective neurosis.
