The point I make is that one can only point to a half dozen conservatives who share your strict interpretation of conservatism. These few "true conservatives" do not make a governing majority. If they ever become the majority or even a large minority then they will have the power to make change. The best they can do now is vomit out irresponsible rhetoric designed to get attention and give ammunition for the rats and liberal media. Ron Paul is a fringe kook who does his best to alienate his own party in his never ending quest to become the official laughing stock of the House...a position formerly held by Trafficant.
