They are the voice of the people and if the people should decide that a particular law is not fit for America then it is the duty of the Conress and the President to remove it.

Let me clarify it for you.

The US Supreme Court ruled that the US Congress and the State Legislatures have no authority whatsoever to regulate abortions in the first trimester, and only limited authority in the second and third trimesters.

They founded this ruling in the principle of the Constitution's strict limits on government intrusion into the personal lives of its citizens.

Whether you like it or not, or believe it or not, the hands of Congress and the President are tied in the early stages of pregnancy until the Constitutional argument for abortion is overturned in the Supreme Court.
