RE: "I'd just like to add this. Silence from the right when Bush & McCain stood sidebyside saying the ad by the Swiftees was disgraceful; when Bush failed to bring John Kerry's traitorous actions to the fore during the campaign; when Bush calls it's own citizen 'vigilanties' for demanding border security, he is happy to provide to Iraq; is a sign, that he has lost his way and a Senate apparently unconcerned with voices of those paying the freight with both blood and treasure. I'll not be bound to party by blind loyalty. I'll not pretend that a crumb is good enough to keep me on the GOP reservation. It might be good enough for Democrats to keep voting dem for empty promises, but it ain't gonna fly with me."

Excellent comments. Thanks.

I am tired of the complacent attitude of Mr. Rove that we conservatives have no where else to go. We American citizens are trying to get his attention. Is that "mean spirited?" To some it is. Go figure.

The last time conservatives got the attention of the Party (Goldwater v. Rockefeller) the result was Ronald Reagan. Not bad.

Frankly I hope that fifty years (or less) from now the majority party evolved from the Minute Man Project and Hold Their Feet to the Fire.

Did the President ever thank those few hundred combat veterans (the Swiftees)?

Me too. Which supports my agreement with the evidence that the elite own and operate the government for their personal enrichment.

The last time conservatives got the attention of the Party (Goldwater v. Rockefeller) the result was Ronald Reagan. Not bad. Amen. Amen. Amen.

Frankly I hope that fifty years (or less) from now the majority party evolved from the Minute Man Project and Hold Their Feet to the Fire.

Agreed. However, in 50 years, the America we strive to preserve will be happily if not gleefully erased by the left. We do not have time to waste; in one session of Congress, our sovereignty and freedoms can be erased. With the next four years or so, 4 to 5 Supreme Court Justices will be seated, and it is, a matter of life or death, of us all, and the republic, that Americans stand for America.

Did the President ever thank those few hundred combat veterans (the Swiftees)?

To my knowledge, NO. Volumes spoken about his support of CFR. Just exactly who will be the foreign donors in the next election. I can tell you, this donor of time and cash, shall not darken the door of the GOP again, with expectations they fulfill their promises. Rather, I shall donate to the Gonad Transplant foundation in hopes, that at least 60 sets are always available to elected leaders who have sworn to uphold and protect the constitution. /:) / s
