The Bush Haters and Republican Haters are getting louder and more daring by the hour. Bush hater? I think someone called me that this week just because I dared to observe the truth that when it comes to border security, The Emperor has No Clothes!

I just don't get it. It makes no sense. Kerry would've done nothing different except perhaps eliminate the border all together. Argh.

"I just don't get it. It makes no sense...." JJ, it only "makes sense" if there IS such a thing as a 'New World Order' conspiracy.
The evidence suggest it to be the ONLY explanation for the inexplicable.
What IF Kerry was at the helm?
The GOP (including RINOs) ironically would have suddenly come to life about the border invasion and fought him tooth and nail.
To: F16Fighter
You have a good point.
It helps explain the odd silence from the pubs in the Senate as well.
I doubt the RINO'S would fight for border security. They, like Jeffords would be tossed to the side like overused Saloon Girls.

Our politicians are in it for the power they can weld. We are merely chess pieces they bring out every four years to get them elected. When they are, we go back into cold storage until we are needed again for their ego fix.
This country is getting so ripe for a revolution it is scary.

Please note jveritas #714:
"Anyway, I have decided to tone it down on my side, and I hope those freepers will tone down on their side."
In the spirit of forgiveness, let's give jveritas another chance.
jveritas, please consider the words of Thomas Jefferson:
(Immigration and the Moral Conditions of Citizenship)
Notes on the State of Virginia, Query 8
The number of its inhabitants:
Thomas Jefferson 1787:
[Why excessive immigration is a problem for government based on the principles of the Declaration of Independence.]
"
But are there no inconveniences to be thrown into the scale against the advantage expected from a multiplication of numbers by the importation of foreigners?
It is for the happiness of those united in society to harmonize as much as possible in matters which they must of necessity transact together. Civil government being the sole object of forming societies, its administration must be conducted by common consent.
Every species of government has its specific principles. Ours perhaps are more peculiar than those of any other in the universe. It is a composition of the freest principles of the English constitution, with others derived from natural right and natural reason.
To these nothing can be more opposed than the maxims of absolute monarchies. Yet, from such, we are to expect the greatest number of emigrants.
They will bring with them the principles of the governments they leave, imbibed in their early youth; or, if able to throw them off, it will be in exchange for an unbounded licentiousness, passing, as is usual, from one extreme to another. It would be a miracle were they to stop precisely at the point of temperate liberty.
These principles, with their language, they will transmit to their children. In proportion to their numbers, they will share with us the legislation.
They will infuse into it their spirit, warp and bias its direction, and render it a heterogeneous, incoherent, distracted mass. I may appeal to experience, during the present contest, for a verification of these conjectures. But, if they be not certain in event, are they not possible, are they not probable?
Is it not safer to wait with patience 27 years and three months longer, for the attainment of any degree of population desired, or expected? May not our government be more homogeneous, more peaceable, more durable?
Suppose 20 millions of republican Americans thrown all of a sudden into France, what would be the condition of that kingdom? If it would be more turbulent, less happy, less strong, we may believe that the addition of half a million of foreigners to our present numbers would produce a similar effect here.
If they come of themselves, they are entitled to all the rights of citizenship: but I doubt the expediency of inviting them by extraordinary encouragements
."

"It helps explain the odd silence from the pubs in the Senate as well."AND the MSM's conspicuously "odd silence" regarding Dubya's NON-mention of the obvious illegal immigration problem, lax national security, OR overrun borders.
The NWO makes for strange bedfellows.
"I doubt the RINO'S would fight for border security. They, like Jeffords would be tossed to the side like overused Saloon Girls."
Heh -- you're probably right.

Crap! You confuse(on purpose) policy with party. Robinson runs a CONSERVATIVE forum,; he is not a "bagman" for the RNC.

With all due respect, this person has had numerous chances and has struck out every time.
I consider him/her worse than the average liberal on FR.

We talk about the corruption in the Mexican government ..... the Mara Salvatrucha, also known as MS-13 the gangs from El Salvador .... the standards of the Muslims towards their women and daughters .... We have continually lowered our standards for these poor immigrants and our standards are being pulled down too.

"The people who employ the government - taxpayers - took time out of their daily lives to show their employees - the government - how to do their job. These employers - bosses, if you will - went out to the job site and taught the government how to secure a border. Remember, we're talking about securing our nation's borders against illegal immigration and people-smuggling, here.
Do you realize, in a post 9/11 world, how absolutely criminal it is to say that we have to wait yet another 18 months before the employees figure out how to do their jobs?
If you owned a business, would you put up with that? If you deign to answer, please do so honestly."
If our government talked and acted like the way it is today during in WW2, we would have LOST the war !!
we would have LOST the war!!

This is inevitable when you get a swarm of illiterate, low class low lifes. Sorry, but that is what they are and our prisons are full of them despite police orders not to question their citizenship. That is why Vicente Fox has practically ORDERED them to jump the borders, complete with "how to survive" guides.

For those to have not thought about the demands brought and met from from those south of the border leading to the 'migration' of their form of Latin Government, please consider the following from Canada.
With the help of the ACLU and their tools in our legislatures, how would the concept of a 'blended' government sound to you? A little Communist here, Socialist, sprinkle in Sharia (this should be a big hit with women), of course we have the Global body of the UN, and perhaps, the ICC. Remember if Kerry had his way, the ICC would be a done deal. Ahhhhhhhhhhhh, Utopia. Right? Keep it up OBL's.... remember what you invite.
Life under sharia, in Canada? Saturday, May 29, 2004
Homa Arjomand knows what it's like to live under sharia law. In Iran, she endured it until someone tipped her off that she was about to be arrested and imprisoned. Many of her activist friends had already been tried and executed. She, her husband and two small children (the youngest was barely one) escaped on a gruelling trip by horseback through the mountains. That was in 1989.
Today, she lives in a suburb northeast of Toronto. Her job is helping immigrant Muslim women in distress. And now she is battling the arrival of sharia law in Canada.

Islamic courts get foothold in Canada
Toronto, ON, Apr. 28 (UPI) -- Muslims in the Canadian province of Ontario can soon turn to settling disputes in their own courts, known as sharia, the Washington post reported.
Muslim promoters of sharia arbitration said no cases have yet been decided but the process is set. Islamic leaders created an Islamic Court of Civil Justice last fall and it has chosen arbitrators who have undergone training in sharia and Canadian civil law. [snip]

----North Carolina has an estimated 300,000 illegal immigrants, including nearly 3,000 classified as fugitives by immigration authorities.
And the number of federal deportation officers?
One. His main job: Find and deport undocumented immigrants who have been ordered to leave the country. He has among fewer than 10 people in the state, and a handful in South Carolina, who work for the Department of Homeland Security's Detention and Removal Operations.------- If this dosn't give people a clear picture of what the top policy people are thinking, I have no idea what will.
