His reply will be to bring forth Patriot Acts II & III as a means of security for the general populace.

I wonder what the economic effects would be if someone designed a computer sysytem that would automatically check DL's and SSI's? Another benefit program to assist the displaced criminals, I presume.

Bush has presided over a 28% increase in non-defense discretionary spending, and a multi-billion dollar government giveaway in prescription drugs. Does that sound "conservative to you?"

Give me the names of 10 conservatives in 435 member House and Senate who voted against the increased spending and the prescription drug benefit or banish yourself to the realm of fringe kook. When 99% of America says you're a freak...listen to them. Odds are you're not smarter than everyone else.

Tequila parties are happening all over Mexico, Kalifornia and the Washington DC tonite. The MinuteMens Neighborhood Watch is shutting down in Cochise County.

Amigos, don't party too hard or too long because there is small groups of retirees and old, fat supply sargents popping up everywhere now they know how to do the job.

Even Arnie has decided to join the winning team of vigilant patriots who showed us they know how to slam a border door closed with enough force to be heard around the world.

I think it's time to donate your old binoculars to the White House and your Congressman. Tell them that if they can't see the border from their chair, they are looking in the wrong direction to keep America free and we won't need them anymore.

If you are sitting in DC and you've got a compass, make sure that you have an unobstructed view towards the South West. (hint 200 to 250 degrees)

I don't think we can call the President an enabler. After all, he isn't employing them.

I think he is taking the compassionate conservatism too far here. He needs to think security first. After that, do whatever so long as we have control of the borders. but security isnt just having bodies on the borders, it is eliminating the problem of people knowingly employing them.

So now you're changing the meaning of the word "conservative" because the majority of so-called "conservatives" have demonstrated anti-conservative tendancies?

We disagree on this point. He is truly, the biggest of them all in view of the facts.

The point I make is that one can only point to a half dozen conservatives who share your strict interpretation of conservatism. These few "true conservatives" do not make a governing majority. If they ever become the majority or even a large minority then they will have the power to make change. The best they can do now is vomit out irresponsible rhetoric designed to get attention and give ammunition for the rats and liberal media. Ron Paul is a fringe kook who does his best to alienate his own party in his never ending quest to become the official laughing stock of the House...a position formerly held by Trafficant.

You're right, sticking to your principles when the majority disagrees with you is crazy.

Bush is no where near perfect but the whole illegal thing is distracting you the main problems with our country. I haven't lost a job to an illegal alien and i suspect none of you have either. The unemployment rate is at the lowest its ever been as is the standard of living. Most people who call themselves conservatives are far more worried about issues surrounding abortion, the religious rights of Christians, and taxes.
The reason the party isn't doing as well is because some of us are being distracted by the Buchanans of the country who want to see the GOP fail.

PS, if immigration comes before abortion than you are not a true conservative. How can you possibly compare the deaths of millions of innocent children to Jose working as you're neighbor's gardener.

Isn't there some anti-immigration sites you guys can vent about President Bush on. I mean a couple of posts is fine but this seems to be your primary concern and every thread no matter what it is on eventually comes to blame it on the illegals. I know I'm going to get hate mail after this.
