Brings back memories of Bill Simon and Tom McClintock here in CA. I caved and voted for Ahhhhnold, because Bustamante is a man I cannot trust, and he scares the hell out of me.
This is the problem. How do we learn to fix it? I'm tired of the people who have money getting elected, when we have even better people out there, who aren't being bought. I don't have any money. I have never been able to send donations to anyone. There are ways to promote your candidate without spending bucks, though.

true. and this i did for Thune and Larry Deidrich R (who lost against Stephanie Herseth D). i had to even convince republicans to vote for Deidrich - to my amazement.
the biggest problem we face seems to be RINOs who are starting to fight dirtier and with more venom than the dems. they truly don't want fiscal conservatives in office.
We ARE going to stop this mass immigration and gov't benefits to Illegals. You should be the first in line to complain about not being here legally. Instead, you fight for their rights? Something is wrong with this picture.

Looks like you doth protest too much tho. FReepers have a keen sense of smoking out an agenda.
Now there is no way you can guarantee that President Bush will do anything other than offer up a Guest Worker program, or grant amnesty to all the other illegals that will arrive in this country before the manure hits the fan.
Time is not our friend. We are acting NOW, and pray the President WE trusted and elected will hear the cry of his citizens, and act promptly.

Please forgive me for butting in, but...
The people who employ the government - taxpayers - took time out of their daily lives to show their employees - the government - how to do their job. These employers - bosses, if you will - went out to the job site and taught the government how to secure a border. Remember, we're talking about securing our nation's borders against illegal immigration and people-smuggling, here.
Do you realize, in a post 9/11 world, how absolutely criminal it is to say that we have to wait yet another 18 months before the employees figure out how to do their jobs?
If you owned a business, would you put up with that? If you deign to answer, please do so honestly.

Our President, most of our Senators and Representatives are still deliberately blind and deaf when borders are mentioned. It is a NATIONAL DISGRACE!!
The President will do nothing before 2006, and 2007 ..etc. IMHO
