You stated that taking LSD might not be a sin.

Since one cannot take mind altering drugs in moderation the result of taking those drugs is the same in principle as getting drunk.

The issue of moderation in drinking has nothing to do with taking mind altering drugs.

If you want to start another discussion on drinking, we can do that, but taking a drugs such as LSD or cocaine is always a sin.

Taking a drug like cocain is a sin? You do realize that LSD is a recent development, right? It's use is LIKELY a sin, because normally it's only drug-heads that have anything to do with it. That doesn't mean it's a de ffacto sin though.

Tell me that next time you have a Dr. prescribe you contanine. It IS cocain.

Again, it's about moderation (and context, in the case of medications)

And you're reliance upon things being a sin "in principle" is laughable. It wasn't addressed in the Bible. So "in principle" it has no say.

Idol worship and putting things before God DOES have relevance, but drugs/booze/sex in an of themselves are NOT sinful.

Drugs may be used for medicine, thus having it be a sin would be laughable. Alcohol is used by Jesus as His first miracle. Doubtful alcohol in and of itself is a sin. And sex within marriage is the purpose of marriage (the two shall become on unit)
