The first part stems from the banning of nolu chan. Your tag line changed within a couple of days of that momentous event to read "Quoting Lincoln is a bannable offense." Even as it changed, you and others were posting that neither nolu nor the other neo-rebs had "any idea" why he was banned. Hmmmm.
Your excuse for nolu is a classic rationalization. Unable to accept that he was banned for something he did or wrote, you create a story in which the innocent nolu was tricked into posting supposed Lincoln quotes. It's somebody else's fault! Your southern separatists must have a rationalizer gene or something.
But worse, you prevaricate by (justifiably) claiming ignorance on one hand, but providing a cover story on the other hand. So which is it?
With regard to the second clause, that first appeared the day after GOPc disappeared. You apparently attribute his short time-out to an alleged quote from the boss. But you knew full well that GOPC was caught in several ... shall we say ... mistruths. They had been plainly posted. And even if he was suspended for such a post, the root of the problem remains that neither he nor you know the full extent and ramifications of his false and sordid claims.
Whether he was timed-out for quoting the owner, or because the moderators just got sick of his incessant whining, "Mommy - he's talking to me!", may never be known. And I couldn't care less.
So you see, I have nothing to retract.
I noticed that tag line, too, capitan. The second part is as about in your face to the owner of this forum as one can get.
But, then, the preening dandies that make up the Lost Cause Squad have never cared a fig about the rules of FR as far as those rules might apply to them, as any sentient observer of their behavior well knows.
They only spring into action as exacting taskmasters of every jot & tiddle of those rules when one of their scummy own is on the verge of getting his/her/it's pweshish feelers hurt--and they then uniformly proceed to have a good hanky cry all around amongst each other, accompanied by convulsive hissy fits directed towards the perceived tormentor of their little Stars & Bars sewing circle so hysterical and unhinged as to make a cat laugh.

Looks like they're back to work trying to start another flamewar, 4CJ, and just as I predicted they're trying to assert an affiliation between you and Hitler now (even though the only real genuine nazi we know of was their old friend #3fan). Also notice that when one starts the flame baiting the others quickly follow, including but not limited to the Wlat Brigade regulars who have been off somewhere else (perhaps the barn?) for days on end. As you all know, the events capitan_refugio keep referencing preceded his month-long departure from the forum on January 26, 2005. Following an altercation on a thread with him, I contacted Jim Robinson to report the events and seek his advice. He promptly replied that afternoon by pulling capitan's offending remarks and some responses to them that I had posted, which I asked JR to pull since they quoted the offending remarks. The freepmail I got from JR informed me that he had sent the following message to capitan_refugio regarding the remarks he had pulled:
"Do not post personal information about other posters. Do not stalk or harrass other posters. I would like you to immediatly cease and desist posting or writing to or about GOPcapitalist."
I heard nothing more after that, noticed that capitan disappeared for a month, and considered the matter resolved from there. As you all know however, capitan returned and far from ceasing and desisting his posting to or writing about me as JR's message instructed, he resumed and resumed with a vengeance.
Now capitan claims that he was never admonished in the manner that the freepmail above describes, and has even succeeded in getting my posts that describe this event removed (all the while his own versions as well as his own personal attacks are permitted to remain with impunity, even despite the outstanding order that was supposedly sent to him). Sadly, this strange set of inconsistent events makes for only two logical possibilities: Either JR lied about his message to capitan when he sent me the freepmail posted above, or capitan is lying now about never receiving it.
Given that the great Supreme Court Reporter and West Texas Battle historian capitan has a long and demonstrable problem with telling the truth, I have always been inclined to distrust his version of events and accept that JR's message was truthful. One thing is certain though: the message I got from JR and capitan's later claims are incompatible, meaning one of the two lied.
I'll leave it at that and also leave you to any other inferences you wish to make. If capitan desires to call JR a liar on this thread or any other part of the forum, that is up to him. You're a habitual liar. The reason I wrote that quoting Jim is a bannable offense is because it was true in this case - GOPCapitalist was banned for a day for doing nothing more than directing the moderators attention to the admonishment that Mr. Robinson had previously sent YOU.
I have the UTMOST respect for Mr. Robinson, if he'd like me to change my tagline I will do so.
Other than your apparent hatred for all things Southern you really seem to be a nice guy. Our view of the Constitution is not the same when it pertains to sovereignty and limited federal government, and I do not overlook Northern culpability in slavery, nor do I attempt to justify subversion of the Constitution by Lincoln and the yankee congress. I consider us to be like Justice Scalia and Thomas in our interpretation, the 10th means what it says, and that the federal government is limited in scope.
I know other might be glad to see you gone, but I'd prefer that you, Nolu Chan, Bushpilot and CSSFLorida were all back here. There will be no dancing on your grave by me - it's a hollow victory, the same experienced by our ancestors when they won a victory over union troops.
