Theocracies scare me. And they scare most people.
That seems like a long long time ago, now. Now it's been shown that far too many Freepers are just one half-step removed from Contitution Party loons.
In a way, though, I suppose it just means that FR has come full circle. The mixed nuts brigade controlled this place in the earliest days too.
It was a republican web site until republican judges in Florida thought they ruled the country - and they actually do. Florida starved and dehydrated a woman to death, a republican judge did it. Doesn't that kind of make you quiver?
