I would agree with you if you use the qualifier "controlled" immigration. What you have now is an invasion, don't kid yourself. I live in a major U.S. metropolitan area (3rd largest city) that has gone from 200,000 Hispanics twenty five years ago to 1 million and counting..I hope they desire to assimilate, otherwise you have the potential of balkanization of the U.S. And don't kid yourself about the Mexican governmentlooking long term to play political and geographic games with this issue, they've already started. Maybe you live in an area that isn't as affected....yet.
