Actually, Vegas was a small city when I got here. Now we have 1.5 million, of which 30% are immigrants. Of the immigrants, 40% are illegal - so about 200,000 illegals are here. Having had an office firebombed by illegals, having had my storage shed cleaned out by illegals, having started one of the Spanish TV stations here, speaking Spanish relatively fluently - I damn well know what is going on. And it isn't pretty.

You haven't given me your address, so I can send illegals your way. If you think open borders are great, then why don't you let the illegals camp out near you?

A few weeks ago I had my kitchen and bathroom remodeled. I was a two man crew that spoke Spanish. They did exceptionally good work without a 30 minute break every 10 minutes. When they noticed a variety of weapons and a display of badges on my wall, they asked if I was a police officer. I smiled and said “inmigración”.
Not a twitch. They both pulled out their green cards. They were working legally and paying their taxes. I then explained that I was not with Immigration and had never been a cop.
I use the ploy occasionally just for fun – and I have seen a mad rush off a job site many times.

I'll ask you a question. Where do the vast majority of today's American parents point their children towards vocation wise. Menial jobs or to higher education and other white collar vocations.

I know you are not a bigot, but someone could really misinterperet you when you say such things. It sounds elitist to say that white people should have white collar jobs and brown people should be doing manual labor. IMO, someone who works hard at a labor job earns just as much respect with me as a business executive who has worked to get to where he is.
