In the first place this is an Editorial in the Houston Chronicle to which I subscribe.
In the second place I know you have been on the border and I have been reading your reports and have treated them with as much respect as due. Your spin is not obnoxious or absurd in its bravado.
Finally, I have no problem with demonstrations of any kind provided they are without threat or intimidation. Armed vigilantes are not by any definition a demonstration. They are a threat and a nuisance. Your contrary opinion is valid. You have not to my reading called anyone opposed to your position either a traitor or agent of a foreign power. You have my appreciation for remaining civil.
What my opinion of fundraisers and demonstrations in D.C. have to do with this is beyond me...but trust me, I know what you would like to hear and you won't be satisfied in that regard.
You may, if you wish invite me to another thread which discusses your concerns about other venues.
I understand that. But it was you that repeated a passage and highlighted the portion about the alleged "anemic" turnout. Why would you have done that if you weren't attempting to disparage the efforts the Minuteman Project volunteers by highlighting a report of an "anemic" turnout?
