...but they sure as hell aren't conservatives.

You remind me of me when I first went on a 'liberal' board.

I was the only liberal there. Everyone else was a welfare queen.

I learned quickly that a political label is considerably different from a pregnancy test. There is a lot or wiggle room long after the sperm has died.

Think of yourself that way for a day or two and then if you haven't laughed at yourself at least once you are hopeless.

It is not necessary to demonize those with whom you disagree. Joke if you wish and tease if you can, but just as in any bar or social hall, some of the names we call one another lack humor and jest.

As a matter of fact most of the words written on political boards are 92% false bravado and the rest bovine execrement...and would, if said directly to the intended target, result in a whack or two up the side the head.

I can forgive that in the younger crowd that grew up with PlayStation things and the Mario Brothers but for those of us who actually grew up playing outdoors as roughly as we could stand and who actually have shot living things it passes all understanding to behave so boorishly.

There is no more difference between one human's aspirations and another's than spit and polish.

Thanks for the trip down memory lane.

"It is not necessary to demonize those with whom you disagree." Tell that to the rest of your hyena pack. Whatever courtesy you may have formerly been extended went away with your unprincipled attack on Travis McGee. In other words, look in the mirror.

"I learned quickly that a political label is considerably different from a pregnancy test. There is a lot [of] wiggle room..." True only if you happen to be an ACLU democrat or, perhaps, a GOP Big Tent RINO/Liberal/Moderate. I take politics seriously. Very seriously because of the impact it has on my country, my family and my friends. I don't treat it like some kind of buffet where you can pick and choose ("wiggle room").

Let me be clear. If you are not strong on national sovereignty, closely controlled/protected borders, preservation of American culture, language and customs, then I have no use for you. None.
