Well I'm caught up. Gee I haven't paid this much attention to FR in years. Glad this is over.
Read Long Cuts' Opus. Good one. If I valued FR like he obviously did ( how can a married person with a wife and kid who has gone through what he has in his personal life find enough time to be as involved in a chat board as he was? He needed to get away from here.) I'd do as he did.
Caught JR's 'editorial'. Now I know why the unprecedented nuclear attacks were allowed to continue unabated and the moderators were so one sided. The Pro Life movement runs this website. At least in spirit. It would not have mattered if Terri had wanted to die. Such freedom must not be allowed. God alone dictates the very minute and manner of death. No amount of human suffering is too much. Self determination of ones dying minute is not allowed.
This concept is more important than any and all aspects of the conservative movement. It stands above the movement itself ... for alienating one third of the members of that movement while providing nuclear arms to the political opposition in the process is NOT too great a price to pay. This is extremism in action.
The Pro Life movement runs this website. Did you just come out of a coma? You just realized that? WHAT DON'T YOU UNDERSTAND IN THIS STATEMENT?
As a conservative site, Free Republic is pro-God, pro-life, pro-family, pro-Constitution, pro-Bill of Rights, pro-gun, pro-limited government, pro-private property rights, pro-limited taxes, pro-capitalism, pro-national defense, pro-freedom, and-pro America.
