Well, we're past the point of reasonable and rational discussion. They don't want to hear it. I've seen a few posts referring to us in the Smokey Backroom, and they're not pretty. I'm sympathetic to a lot of their arguements, too (in theory), but they've wandered deep into Michael Moore-esqe moral/paranoid rage. Threads like that represent conservative thought very poorly, but the few of us that think so are barricaded in down here. Whatta revoltin development this has turned out ta be!
Richard Pease one of the guardians was on Heartland and didn't trash talk Michael. I am shocked and not in a Casablaca kind of way.
That's an understatement!
What they don't seem to realize is how hateful, unchristian, leftwing and anarchic they've become. I'd wager we all grieve over Terri's situation and the horrible things being done to her, but screaming, namecalling and terrorizing anyone who questions the wisdom and legality of an armed commando raid just isn't winning any hearts and minds. It's making this site look kooky, and it's not doing anything to save the woman's life.
