It's obvious that the martyrdom of Terri Schiavo is a satanic ritual. It's supposed to culminate tomorrow, day Jesus Christ died.
I'm sure many of you also have understood it. Instead of continuing listing the details, I will let you do it yourselves.
Great post!
Ping to a tremendous post by the Goldster, talk show host extraodinaire! #518!
I don't know why I'm so bent out of shape over this. It's been a rough week, and my normal 'unwind and read FR' time has turned into more stress than work itself.
An atomic bomb? The rhetoric is so heated; I've never seen anything like it. Not even after 9/11.
I don't know how to say this without offending anyone, but that level of discourse just doesn't sound like the Christianity I knew. When did Christianity go so extreme that there is talk of civil disobedience, atomic bombs, using children to prove a political point, knowing they would be arrested?
Mom, please ping me too if there is anyone low enough to flame you after that beautiful statement.
Dog, I've got your six!
Oh, thanks for posting that. I did see that and was really surprised at what the doctor had to say.
Well, the obvious conclusion one must draw is that Thomas, Rehnquist and Scalia are all Satanists in on the ritual murder plot. (rolls eyes)
Maybe I'll even read this thread. (and peek at names)
Sure. States can only give up what was once theirs. Same with individuals. If the state goes belly-up, you're screwed as a resident. Worse still if the state rolls over on your feeding tube.
Thanks for your kind comments...yes, advocating violence, in Terris name, was really sickening....and its hypocrisy again...claiming that you want to save Terris life, and then do that by advocating violence which may kill innocents, is really lame and nuts..
We've all be right where you are -- but we're not hiding anymore.
Thanks for your considered comments. It is nice to see a mature analysis, rather than a bunch of frat-boy types ganging up on the "religious right," using language reminiscent of a secular leftist like Barney Frank.
However, I think the rage of the Christian right, although somewhat mistargeted in this case, is justified, and other flavors of conservatives should be outraged, too. The Bush regime and the Republican leadership has not delivered on any substantive issue. The country is wallowing in debt, illegal immigrants pour over our borders, NEA and NPR are going strong, and the Federal government knows no bounds. I think we've been conned. I even suspect that Bush doesn't want to stop abortion because this issue provides a continuing irritant which keeps the religious right activated in behalf of the Republican party.
Yes, mom brought joy to many people...the thought of a nurse, getting a doctor to put in a feeding tube against her will, was sickening...
It kind of broke up at post 60.......be sure to read that one!
Thanks, LC. That thread is probably some kind of karmic retribution for me laughing at all the poor fools on my block with 'Kerry/Edwards' stickers still on their bumpers. I'm sure they're logged on to DU right now, reading that thread and just gloating their heads off.
*Applause*
: )
So, uh, Mr Gold, Sir... Tell us more about the reactions you've gotten to saying that on the air... lol
it's not me.....this even amazes me at how far it has gone down in the past 24-48 hours....
Bravo!!!!
What a fabulous post. I agree with every single word you wrote. Especially about the Republicans who are governing us not understanding that the goverment that governs least, governs best.
I wish so many people could read your post.
Thank you!
Well put, my friend. We have a lot of work to do.
It is rather remarkable. 2-3 weeks ago the talk was all about splintering the Rats and holding their feet to the fire. How it was all good political calculus...I wonder if we haven't splintered conservatives and FR, into the right and the wacko right.
