It's obvious that the martyrdom of Terri Schiavo is a satanic ritual. It's supposed to culminate tomorrow, day Jesus Christ died.

PS to my #3,959: Read the language of the WT times paragraph carefully. It refers to an estimated 30-45,000 patients currently being kept alive in PVS in the U.S. through feeding tubes. In other words, cases just like Schiavo's.

The figure apparently does not include all the other forms of mechanical life sustaining measures you mentioned. I emphasize "mechanical," because drugs, surgery, and many other medical treatments are also life-sustaining measures.

We have NO idea; I understand they were getting lots of abuse reports and at one point they pulled it, claiming FLAMEWAR, but when it was pointed out that nobody on this thread is arguing, they nice mods put it back up for us.

I suspect some people were hitting abuse on it repeatedly to try to get it pulled.

One would have to wonder why, eh?

Thanks..... and the following is the definition in the FL Statutes that allows 'feeding tubes' to be disconnected when the other conditions of the Statutes are met.....

765.101 Definitions.--As used in this chapter:

(10) "Life-prolonging procedure" means any medical procedure, treatment, or intervention, including artificially provided sustenance and hydration, which sustains, restores, or supplants a spontaneous vital function. The term does not include the administration of medication or performance of medical procedure, when such medication or procedure is deemed necessary to provide comfort care or to alleviate pain.

So often you hear on this forum that 'feeding tubes' aren't 'life prolonging procedures' when in fact they are according the Laws of Fl. They may not be in other states but this case isn't in other states either...
