Many posters get too emotional with this issue. It's either 100% or nothing for them.

When some posters suggest a compromise in order to move the ball forward, they are accused of all kind of nasty names.

Our immigration laws need revamping, our border security is broken. I hope that we can come up with a way to address this issue without the usual flame wars and Bush bashing from the unappeasable posters.

There is nothing uglier then interideological warfare.

I, unfortunately, know who these folks are, and you are right: They are driven by emotion. They want what they want, the way they want and it when they want it. They are not interested in compromise, and they certainly have no patience.

Seems to me the folks at ALIPAC are taking everything way too personally.

If they don't make some radical changes, ALIPAC will fail.
