Fighting the WOT along with kicking the MSM in the teeth at every turn can be very taxing. I wouldn't want the job.
However, immigration comes along and you've got to deal with it. Bush has good people around him, they make good money, and this issue should not be above their ability to respond in such a way that minimizes or ends illegal border crossings while at the same time, maximizes homeland security.
This is a 'win' for anyone who undertakes it. While it may be the lessor of priorities (keeping Al Queda dirtybombs in check vs. protecting wage levels nationwide) it is, just the same, on a burner at the national level.
Perhaps they should turn to the White House chef for answers. Sure, things are sizzling in the Mid East, but a good chef will keep an eye on all things 'cooking' at all times. And when it's done, (term ended) he'll put his finished creation on your plate.
