Well, David Duke DID try to run as a Republican - most notably in 1991, for governor of Louisiana. Thankfully he got the cold shoulder. That SOB lost - and I'm not sorry to hear he had to do prison time, either.
As for Dane... well, I can certainly see where he might get the notion. I wish I could believe claims it was just race-baiting, but I've seen the immgiration threads for far too long.

You can certainly see how he could get the notion? How, possibly? The other poster was making her frist post on the thread, and said nothing remotely racist or "culturist" or anything like that, and she gets accused of being a David Duke supporter. If that isn't race-baiting, then nothing is.
