When have I dismissed the ENTIRE illegal population as harmless?

Keep in mind, there are Cubans still in jail from the Mariel boatlift in 1980...they need to stay there.

Yet, you also can't judge the entire illegal alien population according to it's lowest denominator.

Street gangs have existed since long before the Mexican illegal alien explosion.

There dishwashers, gardeners and farmworkers with those surnames as well so the racial undertone won't fly.

I don't think we can close and lock down the border. I also don't think that there are jobs that "Americans just won't do". My own son has done farm work and construction work. Entry level positions that "Americans just won't do" is where the next generation of carpenters, plumbers, electricians, auto mechanics, etc. come from. Not every kid wants to be a lawyer or a doctor when they grow up.

Now, I don't think you're in favor of illegal immigration. I draw that as an inference, because I've never seen the words "I am opposed to illegal immigration" in one of your posts.

So, knowing how angry you become when other FReople infer a view contrary to your core beliefs, how about setting the records straight right here and right now by replying to this post with only the words I am opposed to illegal immigration

If we're to believe Law Enforcement, there is a HUGE contingent of Mexican gangs who are in the United States illegally. IN THE HERE AND NOW.

Now even if you ridiculously choose to compare Mexican street "gangs" to the organized gangs of Capone, Luciano, and Gambino decades ago -- which were comparatively minuscule in number -- at least they were in this country legally. Capisci?

And for your information -- while Capone and Luciano were doing their thing, MY family -- along with 500,000 other Italian-Americans -- were fighting, bleeding, and dying in the Pacific and Europe during WWII just so YOU can open you big mouth today here in America.
