I know where you're coming from *but* there are times when you just have to let soldiers be people.
We had a similar situation after a pretty stressful six weeks when I was in the 101st. The commander left before the really good stuff got going but before he did leave he said, "Just don't wreck my barracks".
Good officers and NCOs "know when to hold 'em and know when to fold 'em". They may hang you out to dry when you get caught, but at least they'll give you the rope to hang yourself.
Is this a bit over the top? Probably. But all involved knew it when they did it.
NCO and commanders should have ONE rule..NO CAMERAS..

Always knew I was in the wrong war. This does not fit my memories of getting drunk and "wrestling in the mud" with some MP's. More's the pity. Talk about a whole new reason for grunts to resent MPs.
