They SHOULD be punished! The UCMJ addresses this kind of behavior. Everyone who serves is taught we represent our country on and off duty. We are to be on our "best behavior" at all times, PERIOD! (Such as public drunkeness, etc.) There is no defense of this kind of behavior. The majority of our troops are honorable and decent, and represent the United States beyond what we could wish for. These troops did not. Baloney. I'm glad you were perfect while serving.

Why do you keep defending this behavior? Were you ever involved in a similar situation and feel like you were treated unfairly? Rules were broken, punishment meted out. It's done and over.
