Did you even serve in the military?
In garrison you have the luxury of officer clubs, NCO clubs and enlisted clubs - sometimes. But there are also quite a few all-rank clubs. Should we punish everyone who has had a drink at those establishments?
Needless to say, there's no such luxury in the middle of a sandbox. Find something more important to worry about.
Soldiers kicking back a few drinks, partying, dancing, joking arond,; that's all good. But why is it so hard to distinguish between having fun and acting innapropriately? I don't think these soldiers should be discharged, but they should be reprimanded. These actions were not done in the best judgement.
If they were watching two women box, that's one thing. Two women wrestling in the mud, revealing their bodies to their fellow comrades is another. These soldiers are the repreentatives of all that is right with America; they should act accordingly.
Yes, USAF active duty and ROTC/Army National Guard.

Absoluely. The air force installation I was at had an NCO Club - and enlisted folks of all rank were welcome. And no we should not punish those who have a drink.
, If it was not clear, I apologize. Let me clarify. There's a big difference between folks having a drink at an NCO Club and what the news article is reporting.

Whatever. And thanks for your concern about what I should worry about. You might take a bit of your own advice.
Not only that, but these soldiers are under orders not to date the locals. In garrison you have a ready supply of civilians to go out with. In Iraq, that option doesn't exist.
I suppose they are supposed to sit around at night doing Bible studies or reading their TOs.
