The only mystery is the refusal to accept the sacrament of Communion as ritual cannibalism. It doesn't look good to call it that but strip it down to its most basic and that's what it is.
It starts out as a wafer and wine and stays the same. When you get communion its still bread and wine, not flesh, furthermore God is a spirit...therefore your objection is weird
