It is by following His example, man can regain his divinity, his eternal life.Christ never said we can be saved by works. How do you reject some scripture as true and accepting other scripture as fale ?

I am sick of all of you Protestants defiling the Mother of God with your petty little comments.
"How do you reject some scripture as true and accepting other scripture as fal[s]e ?"
How do you reject transubstansitation, which is clearly written in Scripture, while accepting things that conform to your own personal beliefs?

When He held up the coin and said render unto Caesar what is Caesar, render unto the Lord what is His, He was making a comparison between the physical life and the spiritual life in which man resides. Opposite sides of the same coin, not diametrically opposed but often at odds with one another.
When we are performing our civic duty and being good citizens, that work is being counted toward our Eternal Life. In that, He did say our "good works" are counted.
Am I to understand you are saying one can live a life of debauchery and evil yet on their deathbed they can claim the Lord is his savior and be rewarded with eternal life?

We are saved by Grace AND by works:
(James 2:24) - "You see that a man is justified by works, and not by faith alone."
(Matthew 19:1617) - "And behold, one came to Him and said, "Teacher, what good thing shall I do that I may obtain eternal life?" 17And He said to him, "Why are you asking Me about what is good? There is only One who is good; but if you wish to enter into life, keep the commandments."
