All the to-and-fro about his citizenship aside, I'm most interested in this question: Did this dude really intend to commit suicide? Once the cour-appointed lawyers get their hands on him, we'll probably never learn the answer.
The superficial self-inflicted wounds, plus getting out of the SUV at the last minute, would lend credence to the theory that he didn't want to live, but he didn't really want to die, either. In other words, he couldn't sh-- OR get off the pot.
I don't think his court-appointed lawyers will be successful in supressing anything he said to the police before he was arrested.
