Dordtists are inhabitants of the city of Dordtrect. Not all citizens of any city believe the same way. Are all New Yorkers democrats?

What philosophy??? City's don't have philosophies. Communes are not cities. Philanthropists are not cities.

Dordtrecht is the city. I imagine they are dordtrectians or dordtrectites.
Out of respect for that honored name (cough, cough), and because of the esteemed Synod of Dordt, I have dubbed the adherents of that esteemed philosophy, "Dordtists (english: Dortist)"...with all rights and privileges appertaining thereunto.....(ahem)...
The continuun can now be called the "Calvin Continuum."
Far over on one side are the Dor(d)tists. Nicely located not too far and not too close to the dortists are the arminians.
