Unfortunately, as any bilingual Russian knows, our language is notoriously inconsistent:

Think (present) - thought (past), not "thinked".

Fish (singular) - fish (pl.), not "fishes".

Or, for that matter, Calvinist and Arminian.

And so on... As an Army chaplain and educated man, you're aware of this.

Of course, "strategery", "femi-Nazi", and "mcJob" are examples of newcomers to our highly mutable vernacular, so if you get enough people on board, who knows?
