And scarmable I did!

I made it to Las Cruces in one day...nice, sunny, little traffic day...got to Tucson before noon the next day, so all is well!

I am just curious as to where you originated from and how long did you drive? I went from Phoenix to Tyler, TX in about 20 hours and we are getting ready to go visit family/friends just north of Las Cruces and then on to Phx for the weekend...

I left Del Rio TX Thursday at 0745 and got to Las Cruces NM at about 1700. I took Hwy 90 West out of Del Rio, and there was really no traffic there. The roads are two-lane, but in good condition. I had a few stops, but the weather was also in my favor. I think my total "down" time on the road was about 90 minutes.

I made it from there to Tucson from 0630 to 1145 the next day. I was driving a loaded 15' rental truck, so the trip was a good one, all things considered.

After unloading the truck, I rode up to Mesa with a brother, and here I am.
