Here's something to ponder:
If you were working as a clerk in a convenience store at 2:00am, would you rather have a drunk coming in a f#%&ing with you, a crackhead coming in and robbing you, or a pothead coming in and buying some Twinkies?
Why does everything man does have to be more complex, involve hoops to jump through? Who cares if they want to smoke it, its their life, doen’t make them bad folks, not against the ten commandments..why should folks place all things in hands of doctors and lawyers when they can grow a plant and eat it or smoke it, not pay for an office visit, big pharma etc..people only take the medicine they want to take anyway..keep it simple, legalize it, let the individual choose..
Thanks for replying years later...
I stand by my remarks back then I respect yours too - especially about the doctors and lawyers!!! - to a point. I wish I could agree with you totally. I cannot however.
The use of the illegal drugs in question affect more than just the individual. They affect that user’s family and community too.
In an agrarian sparsely populated low tech society - I would probably have a different opinion.
Best wishes, just don’t forget people are suffering because of this law, I realise it is their choice to violate it, but it is also other peoples choices to impose it..
No problem, don’t expect anyone to agree, we will talk about it in Heaven..
