You know better than that. The traitors were the political leadership (i.e the fire-eaters, such as Rhett, Yancey, etc.), who led the secession movement. Few of them every saw a battle field and most died in bed.

There were plenty of honorable southerners serving in the military during the ACW - though the most honorable served in blue.

SOME of the "billy yanks" were TRULY HONORABLE but, imVho (and in that of MOST southrons) SADLY they were led by a coven of elitist, tyrannical,AMORAL, POWER-HUNGRY politicians, who would DO/SAY ANYTHING to get more $$$$$$$$ & PERSONAL POWER.
