You claim the right to decide what is constitutional and what is not. How arrogant is that?
It isn't arrogant at all -- if the Constitution says the President must be a natural-born American citizen, then that's what it says. Why should I have to look up some opinion of Justice Story or Learned Hand to tell me the same thing? That's what you're telling me -- that my own words have zero weight, are worthless, et cetera, and that I have to back everything up with a Supreme Court opinion.
