It is physically dangerous (as in mortally) to be a known conservative black politician in my hometown of Jackson.
The new top rung is like Huey Long meets Stokely Carmichael meets Julian Bond meets Boss Tweed meets Charlie Luciano.
I'm sure Jackson is not a solitary example.
The new left down here got schooled in Chicago I think....or Crowne Heights or 125th street.
Sad.
