Finally a thread I can relate to!
Don't usually buy by the case, but a 12 pack of Bud is $10.99 here in MA. That include .60 for the environment.
Actually I was thinking yesterday that they have super sized beer packages. The 12 pack is now more common than a 6 pack, and the 30 pack seems to have replaced the tradition case of 24. Now bud also has 18 packs.

For mass-produced domestic beers in aluminum cans that appears to be the case.

When I drink that type of beer (usually on hot summer days) I drink Coors. In the winter I prefer the something darker and heavier. .....like some of the ales brewed up here in the Northwest.

Man, I moved from MA to Japan for a job. Japanese beer is kinda nasty. They sell Bud here, and I drink it a lot- but it costs me the equiv. of about $15 for a sixer of tall boys! I recently saw a case of 30 Bud bar bottles being sold for the equiv. of $60!!!

I prefer German beer, especially St. Pauly Girl Dark.
I worked for 3 months in Stuttgart back in 2000, and found a local beer, Swabianbrau Das Swartze. Best beer I ever tasted. Black as soot, not bitter, and rich and full bodied. I can't find anything like back here in VA. Drank lots of it when I was in Germany. It was as cheap as Coca-Cola (and a lot more enjoyable).
