No. Joseph Wilson wrote the article, but it is ABOUT Bishop Bruskewitz's excommunication of SSPX adherents in his diocese, which by the way, was NOT overturned by Rome.
It also exposes all the other lies and misrepresentations the SSPX gives new people in their flyers when they visit their chapels.
There was nothing for Rome to overturn. Bruskewitz's declaration was hot air, nothing more.
I doubt that. The author uses the first person voice to refer to the Saint Joseph Foundation and it is identified as coming from the newsletter of the Foundation, whose founder and director is a man named Charles M. Wilson (http://www.st-joseph-foundation.org/stjf-staff.htm). Joseph Wilson is a priest in brooklyn.
So, out of the list of possible authors, Charles Wilson is much more likely than Bruskewitz, Perricone or Joseph Wilson.
Who cares if Bruskewitz excommunicates Catholics--if the excommunications are unjust? They remain moral nullities. It would not stop me for a second from attending Mass at an SSPX chapel. No Bishop may violate the divine law with impunity--and Bruskewitz does so by acting unjustly and slandering the innocent.
