If the family depicted were a bunch of Southern rednecks, devout members of the Triple Rock Baptist Church of The Latter Day Dawn of Armageddon, and they were preparing to hijack a UPS 747 cargo plane to crash into the (un)holy city of Mecca, it would be perfectly OK, because the storyline would end with the radical family being gunned down by (of course) Islamic security forces just before the hijacking began.

As for that terrorist-sympathizing group 'CAIR', one day they'll turn on themselves and that Hooper joker will be the first one to find his throat slit while his one-time buddies scream 'allah akbar'.
