That old bbc production was my intro into Hitchhiker...you are right. The stills of Marvin make him seem tooo....trite...no wonder he's always depressed.
I haven't been to a movie in a year...but I suspect I will go see Hitchhiker...
I'm gonna keep an eye on their website and see if I can't find some more "insider" pictures of the sets. A couple of the stills they have already posted make the Vogons looks pretty nasty looking. Groovy...
