My LulaBelle is a dear to me as any good friend. I won't even think beyond now with her.
Update. Looked through the classifieds on the internet. Made a few calls and none were home until an odd one caught my eye.AKC lab puppies. No price. Figured it was a typo of sorts but called anyway. Fella said he wasn't asking much for 5th generation AKC registered chocolate lab puppies, was more interested in making sure they go to a good home. I asked price, he hemmed and hawed a little asking me questions about the fenced yard and such. When he was done he told me 200$.
Oh man. I told him That was way more than I could afford. He asked me how much I was looking to spend, I told him I was looking for a free dog, due to all the money I spent on Josephine. we talked a little more and he said he'd keep an eye out for me.
While we were talikng he had said that he occasionally went hunting with his father in law. Wheels spun in my head. I'm a notorious wheeler and dealer. A phone call back, one excellent condition mossberg 500 shotgun in .20 guage, eight boxes of shells and a gun case later and Sara is now asleep in my lap having a rather animated dream. She has rolled over twice totally trusting me to catch her. She's going to be a handfull. It's going to be fun.
