All night at work I was agonizing over the thought of putting Josephine to sleep. That beautiful little dog even saved me of that.
I know that was hard for you.

I can't even describe it. It was in 1992, and just now, I am thinking of getting another. Life goes on, painful memories and all.

One more round, and then we'll wipe our eyes, and speak of other things...
Numbers
The world is what the world is,
You cant make it perfect.
You cant make it safe.
You cant make it make sense.
If you live an average life,
Half the people that you come to know,
And love,
Will die,
Before you do.
This is a statistic. You can check it out.
Its just numbers at work.
The cold equations.
Numbers at work.
Numbers.
Numb.
Nobody said that Life was fair.
One thing we know for sure.
Death is not fair.
It may be equal,
But it isnt fair.
Young children shouldnt die.
Healthy young adults shouldnt die.
Old people, who have seen too much of sadness,
And have grown weary of the torment,
May welcome uninterrupted sleep.
But Im getting tired of it.
