A little. Last time we ate dinner one night at a restaurant in Stuttgart, in a building built sometime 1200 - 1400. It was a short walk from the hotel, but this time they've arranged with a different hotel a bit further away, and I don't recall that much more modern area as being much of one for walking around evenings.
But I anticipate interesting times with my mostly German colleagues (some of whom are from the corporation that bought my employer last week), and a large group of new participants from all over Europe. I will probably be the only American there.
Come to think of it, I will have some time the last day since the meetings wrap up at 3 PM (so everyone else can fly home) and I don't fly out until the next day. A couple of visits ago to Stuttgart I wound up with a full day free, due to a missed communication, and spent it exploring the StadtMitte (city center).
Have to check the train routes...
