I agree - that whole silly thread does indeed seem, in retrospect, to have been deliberately engineered as an excuse to post that amusing if rambling anecdote. Absolutely. It was obvious to me the moment I saw it. I kept saying, "What's the point of THIS?" and then it all became clear when I saw your post.
